Meet Jeremy
The tech who also teaches band
Jeremy is not just the guy who fixes your instrument, as he is probably standing in front of his band the same day he is working on your horn.
As native of the Rochester area, he grew up in East Irondequoit and found his love of music early. Jeremy attended Nazareth College of Rochester, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Education.
With many years under his belt as a Band Director and Instrument Repair Technician, Jeremy knows the frustration students feel when their instrument doesn't play well and loves their positive reaction when he's able to help them get it playing again.

A Labor of Love Since 1998
Jeremy has been in the band instrument repair industry since 1998 where he learned to fix instruments on the job. He also spent an entire summer studying the trade at Badger State Instrument Repair in Elkhorn, Wisconsin to further sharpen his skills.
This work has always been a labor of love for Jeremy. There is no greater reward than repairing a dirty, dented, leaky, or just plain tired instrument and handing it back to the player, playing like a dream! With a proper repair, a student can practice, a director can count on their inventory, and a pro can trust their horn on stage.
Small But Mighty
Stringer's Band Room is a one-technician shop, which means the person who takes in your instrument is the same person who fixes it and hands it back. No middleman, no mystery, no second-hand repair.
We pride ourselves on installing the finest materials and using the best methods, so your instrument plays the first time it's repaired, not the third. And, if you've got a special request for your instrument, just let Jeremy know and he'll find a way to make it happen.
